Cold forging dies
Heading Dies
Heading dies that form the head geometry on bolts, nuts and cold-forged fasteners.
Heading dies take the blank and set the head form. Everything downstream depends on this stage being right, so concentricity between the bore and the outside diameter is held tightly through grinding.
Bodies are etched with batch and date before dispatch, which means a die can be traced back through heat treatment if a question is raised months later.
